Cannot install or uninstall an Exchange Role after a failed disaster recovery install

You may get an error similar to the following:

Solution:

1. Delete the DR Key (if it exist)
   1. open regedit
   2. go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\<version>\<Installed Role>
   3. Delete the DisasterRecovery Key
2. Delete the watermarks
   1. open regedit
   2. go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\<version>\<Installed Role>
   3. Delete the ConfiguredVersion Key
3. Re-run the install or /m:RecoverServer
